The Ellenbank Quilt was named for the farm we had in the Strzelecki Ranges when I was a child. I started this quilt while travelling through the Midwest of America in 2019 with my friend Robyn from The Strawberry Thief. The pattern is inspired by memories of Dad in his checked flannel shirts, and the fantastic combination of checks and florals in Robyn’s wardrobe.
This quilt uses Liberty of London fabrics, low volume fabric, and check fabric. The Ellenbank Quilt is a great chance to work through your Liberty of London collection to create a beautiful and nostalgic quilt.
The repeating block makes this quilt portable and a great project to work on while travelling. Each stitch was a journey. I truly love this quilt and hope you do too.
This pattern includes a custom template set.
Finished quilt size: 62" × 62" (1.6m × 1.6m)
