Ellenbank was named for a farm that we had as a child in the Strzelecki Ranges, Victoria. I have strong memories of Dad in his checked flannel shirt and I just love how Robyn from The Strawberry Thief combines checks and florals in her wardrobe. Ellenbank was my travelling project from the Midwest of America to Toowoomba to Burleigh Heads and back to Mornington. Every stitch reminds me of my travels.

MATERIALS REQUIRED
3 to 4 metres of Liberty of London floral fabric, checks of every size & colour and a variety of low volume fabric.
Fat 16ths are the perfect size and will be suitably scrappy.
Backing – 3.4 metres
Binding – 0.5 metres
